We believe that food and gastronomy are powerful tools for social change a sustainable development.We organize one meeting per month. And hope to do more events where we can share information and create more actions.
Using food and gastronomy to F L I P things up - Creative Workshop
On March 28th and April 4th you are welcome to participate on the first F L I P it up - workshop of 2019 during Cirkus Cirkular at Designcentrum.
During 2 hours we are going to share tips, initiatives and future projects to keep improving our town towards a sustainable community. Some of the subjects we are going to discuss are:
- Eating and cooking with local and seasonal ingredients
- How to avoid plastic at home
- Edible decoration and gardens at home
- The importance of teaching how to cook to the youngest generations
- Tips to use social media to raise awareness and make some noise
- The first plastic free grocery store in Östersund - Just a dream or a reality we can achieve?
Together with Food Sharing Östersund we will teach how to use creativity to cook rescued food and enjoy a delicious and healthy fika.
